Product Positioning
Whale VIbeNote audio recorder card is newly launched by Zhizai Record. This video lets you get an early experience and learn how to pair the device, start recording, generate transcripts and power off the recorder card with ease.
Power On & Bluetooth Pairing
Take out the recorder card first. Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds. The screen lights up, meaning it is powered on. Next, pair via Bluetooth: turn on Bluetooth on your phone and bring the recorder card close to the phone. Open the Zhizai Record APP, go to My Devices via the Personal Center. The APP will automatically scan and show nearby devices. Locate your recorder card. If pairing fails, check whether your APP version is 2.06 or above. Update it promptly if the version is older than 2.06, then tap Connect. If the device is not shown in the list, tap to rescan. The Bluetooth icon on the recorder card screen will turn green once connected successfully.

Two Ways to Start Recording
After the recorder card is connected, there are two ways to begin recording:
Tap the record button in the APP. Watch the recorder card screen — when waveform animation appears, recording is in progress.
Press and hold the button on the recorder card for one second. You can also view the recording status on the APP interface.
Recording Controls
You may tap to cancel or finish recording within the APP, or control directly on the device. Tap to pause, and tap again to resume. When key content comes up, mark highlights or type notes conveniently. You can also operate on the recorder card: single-click the button to mark a key timestamp. Press and hold the button for one second to stop recording. Controls are available on both the APP and the card. You do not need to take out your phone; the recorder card is within reach.
Recording Sync & Transcript Generation
Once recording ends, audio files on the recorder card will sync to the Zhizai Record APP over Bluetooth. If Bluetooth transfer is slow, use One-Click Fast Transfer: the recorder card creates a dedicated Wi‑Fi hotspot. Connect your phone to this hotspot for ultra-fast file transfer, even for large recordings. After syncing, tap Generate Transcript. A full transcript will be ready in roughly one minute.
Power Off & Connection Management
To power off the recorder card, quickly click its button three times in a row. You can also disconnect manually — this is only a temporary disconnection. Your active membership plan remains valid. The APP and recorder card will reconnect automatically next time.
Device Unbinding
Unbind the device when switching to a new recorder card or another account. Two unbinding options are available:
Unbind Only, Keep Audio: Remove the binding while retaining all audio files on the card. Suitable for logging in on a new phone or leaving the card for later reuse.
Unbind & Clear Audio: Remove the binding and erase all audio stored on the card. Use this when lending, selling or resetting the device for privacy protection. Note: After unbinding, your linked membership will terminate. You will need to reconnect to claim benefits again.
